Is Training Provided?
You don’t need to be a seasoned magazine editor or graphic designer to run your own Area Life Magazine franchise but you do need reasonable computer skills and be a good communicator.
The main responsibilities of an Area Local Editor are to populate your monthly tempplate and sell advertising to cover the print costs, associated expenses and most importantly provide the profit.
Area Life Magazine’s dedicated on-line support site and head-office team will provide you with the tools you need to succeed with your magazine franchise. On the Life Support System you will find a wide range of downloads from details of how to set up your office, templates for your personalised stationery, sales hints and tips, to the final downloadable template of the magazine for you to customise - we give you all the tools to make your business a success.
We provide a step-by step tutorials guiding through the process of populating the Microsoft Publisher template and creating your own glossy magazine. There is also an email support line if you are unable to find a solution within the Life Support System.
You need to be confident, focused and prepared to get stuck in to getting your magazine off and running. After all, with our help and support, you will be starting your own business.
